Information we collect
None that leaves your device. Obelisk Verse does not ask you to create an account and does not collect names, emails, contacts, location, or any personal identifiers. The display name you optionally enter, your quiz results, streaks, favourite fact cards, forged cartouches and restored fragments are all stored locally on your device only.
How your data is used
Your saved progress exists solely to run the features you see: to track knowledge and streaks, remember which lessons you have studied, unlock tomb-restoration fragments, and show your statistics. It is never transmitted, sold, or shared, because it never leaves the device.
On-device processing
All lessons, quizzes, encyclopedias and hieroglyphs are bundled inside the app. Scoring, randomisation and progress are computed on your device. Obelisk Verse makes no network requests to deliver its content.
Data retention and deletion
Your progress remains on your device until you remove it. You can erase everything instantly with the Reset All Progress action in the app's Sanctum settings, and deleting the app removes all of its stored data from your device.
Children's privacy
Obelisk Verse is suitable for a general audience and does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. Because no data is gathered or transmitted, no personal information about a child is ever created or stored off-device.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the revised version will be posted here with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
